ORGANIZATION BACKGROUNDE
Prasad Foundation , an Organization initiated in the year 2006 is committed to work for the development of the weaker section of the society since long. Having most experienced Human Resource in the organization , the Foundation is launching different programmes where the needy gets the benefits for its family for better livelihood. The Chairman is dedicated, motivated, experienced and trained to suggest & guide whole environment to see the best outcome of the input. Targeting the most vulnerable section of the community, Prasad Foundation always insists the stakeholders to be involved in all the programmers is the main strategy of its initiation.
In collaboration with many National and International Agencies, Prasad Foundation has already undertaken different projects during last year. No. of awareness campaigns, workshops, meetings, trainings have been organized successfully where the community, Resource Persons & Government Officials were the part. Prasad Foundation ha its credibility to undertake any developmental projects in the State of Odisha as the community participation is the main criteria for project implementation. Opration Statement
The main aim of such Development institute is to bring sustainable development in the life style of youth generation of society by way of Promotion of Micro Enterprise , Women Employment , Alternate Livelihood Opportunities and other infrastructural , Health, Education and Environmental promotion in Rural areas and Urban slums.
The Organization has concrete scope to develop the backward areas of society at Ganjam and Puri Districts of Odisha. It has the goal to operate in 14 more districts of Odisha where the need of interference would target by NGO/MFI for alternate purpose of development in socio-economic sector is quite high.
After analyzing various operational implementation barriers the organization has emphasized to decentralize the operation through its different wings of expertise services. During February 2011 the Management Promoted a Multi Service Cooperative Namely “ Prasad Multi Service Cooperative Limited” to segregate the Socio-Financial Services to its clients and community members,
The Organization has its existing operation for Micro finance at Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Ganjam District of Odisha with an existing cliental base of 8640 Nos. of individuals, pertaining 209 no. of JLGs 200 no. SHGs , 6978 of Households those were benefited by the social Welfare Programmes, Employment generation programme and Micro Finance product and Services of Prasad Foundation Like Micro Credit Scheme and Micro Enterprise Promotion Programme etc.
USHA SURVEY
Odisha Land Rights to slum dwellers Act passed in Odisha Assembly in 2017 to initiate activities to provide Land Rights to Urban Poor. Under this Act Jaga Mission came into force in Odisha to start the initial work to achieve the goal. Accordingly Prasad Foundation was involved in the urban slum Household Area survey in and around 42 slums under Puri Municipality area. Volunteers were selected , training of volunteers organized and the door to door survey , door to door numbering & mapping was done in all slums taking the active participation of Slum Dwellers Association . Series of meetings, campaigns were organized in collaboration with Municipality & Govt. to select the needy beneficiaries to get the facility. Properly it was done & the beneficiaries were selected through selection procedure . 2000Household were able to get the Record of Rights (ROR) from the Govt. The process is still running in the slums
MOBILE HEALTH CHECK UP CAMPS
Prasad Foundation is dedicated to serve the unreached people to provide the basic needy amenities of life that is health – housing and education. These things are known as 3 important factor of life. So in order to facilitate the at least facilities to old age and unreached people of remote areas in our operational area. Prasad Foundation has conducted 4 nos. of rural health check up camps at Arjipalli and Rangeilunda village of Gopalpur ( On-Sea) and at Penthakata (Fisherman Village) Astaranga of Puri.
HIV/AIDS PREVENTION PROGRAMME
Though the major part of our operational area comes undermost visted Tourist areas i.e Puri, Gopalpur (On-sea)etc and due to lack of awareness the degree of HIV/AIDS infection is to high that the other areas. So in order to create the awareness among the local people regarding how to get prevented from the server attack of HIV/AIDS conducted at Gopalpur (On-Sea) and 3 slum areas of Puri Municipality.
LIFE GUARD SERVICES ON CAR FESTIVAL
On occasion of CAR Festival 2019 there was a huddle of around 9 lakhs pilgrims and tourist to see the Ghosh Yatra of Lord Jagannath. On eve of this holy festival Prasad Foundation has spared 32 nos. of volunteers on grand road and Penthokata where the temporary bus stand for Ratha Yatra operated by district administration . Our volunteers were abe to distribute 5000 nos. of water pouch by help of district administration. In addition to this we have appointed 32 nos. of Live Guards for serving the Pilgrims and Tourist persons at Sea Beach to guide and help the pilgrims and tourists regarding safe sea bath at Sea Beach, Puri. Such activity was highly appreciated by tourist and also made us initiate the same programmes in future years
COMMUNITY PLANTATION & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT CAMPAIGN
Healthy environment is the key of healthy society, which is possible only by availability of optimum number of trees and bacteria free clean environment . During the year Prasad Foundation has planted 32 nos. of fast growing trees in the Bhudan Area of Puri. In addition to For more awareness of community holder and common people of different communities of Puri. Prasad Foundation as conducted Workshop on “Advantage of Plantation for Healthy Environment “ at Puri and a workshop on “Advantage and Easy Practices of Solid Waste Management” at Gopalpur (On Sea) of Ganjam. At the end of awareness workshop at Gopalpur of Ganjam 18 nos. of Fast growing trees were planted at the community land of Arjipalli Village of Gopalpur NAC of Ganjam. The message of such workhop was “Let Plant 1 Tree every day, it will give us oxygen for many next years”.
SWACHHA BHARAT PROGRAMME
In order to spread awareness among people about the importance of cleanliness, the government of India has launched the Swahha Bharat Abhiyan. Prasad Foundation was involved in the campaign to propagate elimination of open defection, eradication of manual scavenging , conversion of insanitary toilets to pour flush toilets and above all to bring & behavioral change in people regarding healthy sanitation practices. We have organized various meetings, trainings & campaigns in rural & urban slums to motivate the general mass to actively participate in the programme to achieve the national goal. Different stakeholders officials from Govt, & cooperative sector joined with us to encourage the movement to go ahead.
RELIEF & REHABILITATION
Puri & coastal districts of Odisha are highly effected by FANI & other Disasters very widely. Prasad Foundation was involved in Relief , Rehabilitation & Reconstruction work which measures to help restore the livelihoods, assets and production level of Emergency affected communities. Also preparedness activities was taken to keep the families safe during natural disasters to make the difference in an emergency.
In collaboration with Govt. & different cooperative sectors Prasad Foundation was involved during the year in Urban slum & Gopalpur Beach area inn all phases like prevention , mitigation, preparedness , Response , Recovery and Reconstruction. Reliefs were provided and action was taken to provide Govt. support to the poor needy people.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH MICRO CREDIT
Prasad Foundation started forming women Self Help Groups SHGs) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG) in both urban & rural areas of Puri & Ganjam District. During the year ……………. No of groups were formed. Training to the Group Leaders were given us record keeping, formation & linkage. Many groups were linked to andhara Bank & SBI & they received Micro Credit from the Institutions. We are the mobilizing to form & strengthen the members to avail such facility for better livelihood. We also see the groups performances in paying monthly installments to the Founder son that a business relationship can be developed among these groups for future development. Among all other activities , women empowerment is one of the major part for successful achievement in all parts of the society.
MAN POWER CONSULTING SERVICES
Man Power Consulting Services has emerged as one of the most promising agency mainly in the field of Recruitement, Staffing services and HR solutions catering to the needs to different industries. We are acting as the bridge between organization looking for staffs & people looking out jobs. During different occasions in Puri & other coastal districts we are providing the facility to the clients. In future , we are going to expand the activity to provide better services to both clients for livelihood & development.

BEACH CLEANING
Beach cleaning is a regular activity of our organization. Regularly & continuously we are cleaning the Golden Beach of Puri involving the community, Volunteers, Women folk & media people. Also the awareness campaign are made for the visitors/vendors to keep the Beach clean always. Mainly we are organizing thus activity in collaboration with District Administration & Life Guard Associations.
COMMON SERVICE CENTRE
We are running CSE in Puri. This is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt. of India . CSEs are the access points for delivering of various electronic services to villages in and around our area of operation. This programme is one of the mission mode project under the Digital India Programme. We are working under this project for a socially , financially & digitally inclusive society.

Prasad Foundation is acting as the partner of HDFC in Insurance sector. HDFC Life Insurance which values Excellence , People engagement , Interpret, & Customer centricity. We educate the poor people regarding the benefits of Insurance that is payment of Losses. They are understanding its importance to save money and insured their families future.
